I've repaired the invitation functionality, and you should now be able to invite your friends to play Lexwords by following the link in the left navigation.   

I am continuing to update and expand the Lexiconzone's features and functionality.  Typically, I deploy changes between 12 AM and 2 AM Eastern US time or any time on weekends. Normally I try to limit server interruptions by not deploying changes to the site when there are many users logged on and playing games. However, sometimes interruptions are unavoidable.  If you experience an unexpected server error or "page cannot be displayed" time out, I encourage you to simply close your web browser, wait 5 minutes, and then retry your previous actions.
